Your Future Responsibilities :  

As a Network systems administrator, you will be responsible for:

- Managing the global IT network infrastructure (Germany, France, Romania, Finland, Morocco)

- Switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points

- Managing the global OT network infrastructure (wind farms and network stations in DE, FR, RO, FI, MA)

- Switches, firewalls

- Ensuring network security maintenance & improvements in cooperation with Volkswind & Axpo IT

- Enhancing documentation of Volkswind’s IT & OT network infrastructure

- Improving network segmentation for both IT & OT networks

- Collaborating with IT & technical management to enhance OT security

- Designing network solutions for new wind farm projects & substations

Location : 

• Hybrid office or Fully remote with office visits as needed.

Your profile : 

You have proven experience as a Network Engineer or Administrator. 

You hold a European driver’s license and are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

You are organized, able to prioritize tasks efficiently, and have strong time management skills. You approach challenges with a pragmatic and problem-solving mindset.

You are willing to travel as needed to support the company’s network infrastructure across multiple countries.

Ideally, you have experience working with Cisco, Sophos, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, and Palo Alto hardware.

Your strong organizational skills and experience working on international enterprise-level projects allow you to collaborate effectively with colleagues from different countries.

A background in OT threat detection and mitigation processes would be a plus.

And of course, you are passionate about environmental issues !
